BillTracker support
Plan your bills around payday and compare the cost of upcoming pay periods.
Getting started
- Open Settings and choose your pay frequency and a known payday.
- Tap + to add a bill, its amount and repeat schedule.
- Use the dashboard for bills still due before your next payday. Open Upcoming to plan further ahead.
Compare pay periods with Balance
Balance compares planned bill totals across 8, 12 or 26 pay periods. The charts show totals and differences, with the average and the spread between the highest and lowest periods.
Suggested bill-date moves show how a possible change could make the periods more even. Suggestions do not change your saved bills or arrange a payment. Confirm any real due-date change with your bill provider.
BillTracker does not connect to your bank, check your account balance, track income or confirm that a bill has been paid. Amounts are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD).
Reminders
Enable “Allow bill reminders” in Settings, allow notifications in iOS Settings, and enable a reminder on each bill. The next eligible occurrence is scheduled when the app refreshes. Open the app regularly to refresh later reminders; iOS notification settings and Focus can affect delivery.
Backups and restoring bills
In Settings, use Export bills (.json) to save a backup in Files or share it. Import bills (.json) restores a saved backup. Replace all overwrites the current bill list; merge options combine it with the backup. Backups support up to 10 MB and 10,000 bill versions.
Keep a backup before replacing your data. If saved data cannot be read, the app blocks edits until it can be loaded or restored. A replacement restore keeps a protected copy of the unreadable file.
Importing statements
Choose text-based bank statement PDFs to look for repeated debit transactions that may be missing from your bills. Scanned or image-only PDFs are not supported. Results are suggestions: review names, amounts and intervals before adding them. Analysis takes place on your device.
